Key takeaways
The short version.
- Gemini is Google's assistant, built into Android, Chrome and Google Workspace. Its agent, Spark, can work across your files and apps.
- Google says custom MCP support is rolling out in the Gemini app, so people can connect their own apps to Spark. MCP is the standard AgentStructure apps use.
- Spark already tracks news, finance and email topics. AgentStructure apps go a level deeper: the SEC filing explained, the federal notice matched to your NAICS code, the role ranked against your résumé.
- Gemini's edge is Workspace. A signal can become a Doc, a Task, a Calendar entry or a Keep checklist in one step.
- Best fits: GovContracts.Money and RoleRank for Workspace, SEC Stock Signals alongside Spark's stock tracking.
About Gemini
What is Gemini, as an agent platform?
Gemini is Google’s AI assistant, available on the web, on Android and iPhone, in Chrome and inside Gmail, Docs and the rest of Google Workspace. Its agent is called Spark. In a June 2026 update, Google said Spark “can now move beyond the chat window, and tackle the heavy lifting across your desktop files and apps,” starting with a macOS beta for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US.
The same update added connected apps (Google Tasks, Google Keep, Canva, Dropbox, Instacart, OpenTable and Zillow Rentals), real-time topic tracking across news, finance, sports and email, and the rollout of custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, which lets people connect their own apps to Spark.
Why it matters
Why does Gemini need real-time intelligence?
Spark’s topic tracking can tell you when a stock crosses a price you set or a team finishes a match. That is broad tracking. A small contractor needs to know the moment a federal notice in their NAICS code is posted on SAM.gov. An investor needs to know what an 8-K actually changed, not only that the price moved.
AgentStructure is the real-time intelligence layer personal AIs plug into. Each app watches one specialized source, filters for you, and explains the change. Over MCP, Gemini can take that signal and do what Google does best: put it into your Docs, Tasks, Calendar and Gmail.

Use cases
6 ways Gemini could use AgentStructure apps.
1. GovContracts.Money
From SAM.gov notice to a Google Doc response plan.
GovContracts.Money watches federal opportunities on SAM.gov for the work you do, by NAICS code and keyword, and sends the good ones with the deadline and the official link.
With Gemini in Workspace, one matched notice can become a response plan in Google Docs, a task list in Google Tasks with an owner for each document the solicitation asks for, and two Calendar holds before the deadline.
2. RoleRank
Your job search, organized in Workspace.
RoleRank compares new openings on official company job boards with your résumé as they are posted, and ranks the ones that fit.
Gemini can keep your job search where your résumé already lives: a Sheet of ranked roles, a tailored copy of your résumé in Docs for the top match, and a Task to follow up a week after you apply.
3. SEC Stock Signals
Price alerts tell you that. Filings tell you why.
Spark can send a report when a stock hits a threshold you set. SEC Stock Signals watches the filings behind the move for the companies on your watchlist and explains what changed, in plain English, with a link to the original.
Together, the price alert and the filing land in the same place, and Gemini can add a short note to your investing Doc. It explains; it does not trade.
4. PoliticalPredictions.APP
News tracking, linked to the markets it moved.
PoliticalPredictions.APP watches public political posts around the clock and tells you which prediction markets you follow could move, with timestamps.
Spark can already follow a news topic. PoliticalPredictions.APP adds the link to the market and the minute it moved, which is the part a researcher or newsletter writer needs. Gemini can then draft the paragraph in Docs. It reports; it does not place positions.
5. Catholic Reminders
A novena checklist in Keep, kept for you.
Catholic Reminders brings the feast, the saint, the readings and a short prayer each morning, and helps you keep commitments like a novena.
Google Keep is now a connected app in Gemini. Starting a novena could create a nine-day checklist in Keep, with each day’s prayer, and a Calendar reminder for holy days of obligation.
6. Comment2Chat
Turn the questions into the next post.
Comment2Chat turns comments and DMs on your social posts into conversations, answers, bookings and follow-ups, and tells you who is ready to buy.
Canva is a connected app in Gemini. A creator could take the questions Comment2Chat collected this week and have Gemini start an FAQ carousel in Canva for the next post.

How to
How would a Gemini user connect an AgentStructure app?
- 1Open the app's connect page on agentstructure.ai and create a free account.
- 2Add the app's MCP address in Gemini once custom MCP support reaches your account.
- 3Ask Gemini to act on it, for example “when GovContracts.Money finds a match, make a response plan in Docs.”
AgentStructure apps reach assistants through their API and MCP. Google is rolling out custom MCP support in stages, starting in the US. A Gemini connected-app listing is not claimed.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What is Gemini Spark?
Spark is the agent in Google's Gemini app. In June 2026 Google said Spark can move beyond the chat window to work across desktop files and apps, starting with a macOS beta for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US. The same update added connected apps such as Google Tasks, Google Keep, Canva and Dropbox, real-time topic tracking, and custom MCP support.
Can I connect AgentStructure apps to Gemini?
Google says custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) support is rolling out in the Gemini app, letting people connect their own apps to Spark. AgentStructure apps reach assistants through their API and MCP, and each app's connect page gives the address. A Gemini connected-app listing is not claimed.
Spark already tracks finance and news. Why add AgentStructure?
Spark's tracking is broad: a stock crossing a price, a topic in the news. AgentStructure apps watch specialized sources such as SEC EDGAR and SAM.gov, filter for what matters to you, and explain the change, such as what an 8-K actually says or which federal notice fits your NAICS code.
Which AgentStructure app fits Gemini best?
GovContracts.Money and RoleRank, because Gemini can turn their signals into Google Docs, Sheets, Tasks and Calendar entries. SEC Stock Signals pairs well with Spark's stock tracking.
Will Gemini trade or apply for me?
Not in these examples. Gemini organizes and drafts, and you decide what to submit or send. AgentStructure signals are information only, not investment, betting or legal advice.
